The materials? Recycled oyster shells and recycled water bottles! Long Wharf Supply creates sweatshirts made from a soft blend of recycled oyster shells, recycled water bottles, and cotton. Inspired by vintage style and classic comfort, these garments boast ribbed cuffs and collars to promote thermal regulation and lightweight layers for windy days among the great outdoors. Each sweater purchased reseeds up to 30 oysters that naturally filter up to 1,500 gallons of seawater every day.
To date, Long Wharf Supply has reseeded over 3,000,000 oysters which naturally filter 150 million gallons of seawater every day.
Will shrink slightly. Size up for a more comfortable fit. Hand wash when possible. Dry clean or turn inside out to machine wash cold and gentle. Lay flat to dry.
